ADS Crude Carriers Plc signing contracts with Feen Marine Scrubbers, Inc

ADS Crude Carriers Plc has signed contracts with Feen Marine Scrubbers Inc. for the purchase of 3 scrubber retrofit systems. This is in line with the company’s strategy in order to (1) Comply with the IMO 2020 Sulphur emission regulations and (2) Take advantage of the economic upside offered by scrubber technology from 2020 onwards. The technical manager, OSM Ship Manager AS, is acting as technical partner and manager for the scrubber projects on behalf of ADS Crude Carriers Plc. Feen Marine’s scrubber systems will be installed on the 2002 built VLCCs “ADS Stratus”, “ADS Serenade” and “Front Page” during the vessels intermediate surveys which are scheduled in Q3 and Q4 in 2019.
